Joel's Kitchen and Bar is a family-owned restaurant located in the heart of Ilkley. Our menu fuses Asian cooking with Southern soul food, served up alongside mighty fine cocktails and local craft beers.
With Joel's famous fried chicken, Asian-inspired rice bowls and a range of hearty buns we put some awesome food on the table. Whether you are looking for a three course meal or the perfect pairing to your favourite cocktail, Joel's is about bringing people together with good food and cozy vibes.
Whether it was a roast on Sunday that his mum made, a meal at his dad's pub,
a takeaway from the Moghul curry house at the top of their road or a special
treat at the Lucky Dragon on a weekend; these nostalgic memories have grown into Joel's. Signifying this style of eating, casual, soulful, simple, with lots of interesting, bold flavours.

Here at Joel's we know how important it is to source our food and drink from only the very best suppliers.
Even our fried chicken comes from a Yorkshire farm, where the birds are free to forage on pasture resulting in happy, healthy, chickens. They are fed with a range of herbs too, which somehow, makes Joel's chicken even more scrumptious.
For our specialty coffees and espresso martinis we use Casa Espresso from Shipley with their award-winning Charlestown blend.
We have local gins and craft beer behind the bar, including Addingham fruit liquers, Yorkshire distillery, BINI BREW and North Brewing Co.
We are always dog and family-friendly both inside and out! Let us know if you are bringing a furry friend or are a large family so we can do our best to give you a table with plenty of space. We have highchairs if required and colouring sheets for the little ones!

Please call us if you are hoping to book a larger table or if the time you are looking for appears to be unavailable. Let us know in your booking comments if you will require a highchair, have any allergies or dietary requirements or will be bringing a dog so we can do our best to accomodate you.
